Mulberry appear to have defied the recession with a 22% increase in profits in the year to March 2010. Mulberry's chairman has said the company are looking to expand in the Asian market as demand grows and grows.

Emma Hill the Creative Director of Mulberry recently game an interview for the Daily Telegraph talking about the new Mulberry bag that is causing quite a stir on both sides of the Atlantic. The Mulberry Alexa bag is launched in July 2010 and may people believes this handbag may even eclipse the enormous success of Mulberry's iconic Bayswater bag.

 

 

 

Mulberry have teamed up with Apple to create a range of bags, sleeves and holders for the Apple Mac, ipods and itouch.

 

 

In a bid to woo the FIFA World Cup football selectors for the 2018 world cup bid, the English Football Association hand out twenty four designer Mulberry bags for the wives of the FIFA selectors in response to criticism from the FIFA chief that other countries such as Australia and Qatar had already given out plastic goodie bags.
